Open Access Policy

of serial publications published by the University of Zagreb Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences


The policy applies to the following publications (journals or series):

 - WPAS - Working Papers in American Studies (1849-6180)
 - ZGB - Zagreber Germanistische Beiträge (1330-0946, 1849-1766)
 - SRAZ - Studia Romanica et Anglica Zagrabiensia (0039-3339, 1849-1421)
 - Croatica: časopis za hrvatski jezik, književnost i kulturu (1849-1111, 2623-9280)
 - Hieronymus: Journal of Translation Studies and Terminology (1849-5257)
 - Radovi Zavoda za hrvatsku povijest Filozofskoga fakulteta Sveučilišta u Zagrebu (0353-295X, 1849-0344)

Open Access Policy

The above journals and series are published in Open Access. Open Access means that the usage rights are granted to others allowing for immediate free access to the work and permitting any user to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose.
There are no publication fees (APCs) or any other fees charged to authors of the above publications.

Copyright & Licencing Policy

Current issues are published under one of the Creative Commons 4.0 open licenses, while some of the older issues were published without the licence.
The copyright and full publishing rights without restrictions are always retained by the authors (now and in the past issues).

Self-archiving Policy

Authors are allowed and encouraged to share their works and deposit them in open repositories of their choice (including but not limited to preprint repositories, subject repositories, institutional repositories or authors’ homepages).
All of the following versions can be deposited in open repositories:
 - Submitted versions (preprints),
 - Accepted versions (author accepted manuscripts) and
 - Published versions (versions of records).
Authors are free to choose the licence for the deposited versions of their work.
No embargo is required.
The published source must always be acknowledged and a DOI link should be provided when it exists.
